Visiting Heiser’s Pumpkin Patch is an educational and memorable field trip that is fun for all ages. You will be greeted with a warm welcome when you first arrive and guided around the farm for an organized and relaxing experience which includes the following:

Barn Activities

  • Watch an 8 minute video on “Growing and Harvesting Pumpkins” (Recommended for kindergarten and older)
  • Pet some very friendly animals
  • Find their way through a challenging haymaze
  • Drive pedal tractors and climb a hay pyramid (Recommended for smaller children)

Hayride to the Pumpkin Patch

We have two options to offer which will accommodate the wide range of ages which visit Heiser’s Pumpkin Patch. Option 2 is recommended for the older students who really enjoy picking a larger pumpkin.

Option 1 – Includes all barn activities listed above plus:

  • Hayride to the pumpkin patch with the smaller pumpkins that are easier for the younger children to carry. The pumpkins average 7-8 inches in diameter.
  • Walk though a small challenging corn maze

Cost per child/$4.00

Option 2 – Includes all the barn activities listed above plus:

  • Hayride to the pumpkin patch with a wide variety of sizes of pumpkins from the smallest to the very large pumpkin.
  • Walk through a very challenging 4 acre corn maze!

Cost per child/$7.00

There is no cost for adults if they do not get a pumpkin. Picnic tables are available to eat lunch or have a snack before or after visiting the pumpkin patch and may be reserved at the time of booking your group. Payment is made with one check rather then cash and a receipt will be provided on request.
